Screaming Metal: Vector Soul - Playtest
A downloadable game
Screaming Metal: Vector Soul is a mecha ttrpg about toxic lesbians piloting living machines for exorbitant amounts of money so they can live lavish lifestyles before being torn to shreds by the poisonous arms of hyperspace.
It can be played:
- alone, as either role
- two-player, with one pilot and one handler
- or with as many players in as many roles as your discord server can handle.
A social experiment. Erotic wasteland exploration. Mega deva-struction simulator. "Oh, hi, it's so nice to meet you, let's kill each other". Mechanized powersuits carrying fragile digital hearts piloted by you depraved dogs. "Bark bark bark."
This playtest will be updated over the next month with completed downtime rules and Handler information.

This looks really promesing, it´s very different from other TTRPG games i have played, but i find it a bit confusing in some mechanics and how the general game would go. For now i will wait for more updates
if you have questions, feel free to ask. the basic rules are explained in the doc as well as the youtube video :)
Maybe it´s just because i´m used to other type of TTRPGs, but i feel that some mechanics are made with text to text in mind, while others are explained with play in person in mind. Because there is a lot of ways to play the game (wich i like), sometimes it´s hard to imagine how the mechanics conect to each other, and what changes has to be made depending if you are playing alone, duo or with more people

did Hyper Trauma actually exist or have i fallen ill with the curse of illiteracy
i believe this is part of the pitch lore, and is meant to be meta. i spent like an hour trying to find out if hyper trauma ever existed cuz it sounds awesome and [shrug].

I LOVE THIS ALREADY
I've just started playing Armored Core 6 so the timing of this release is very serendipitous
