To play this game, you first must become a Dungeon Girl.*

*Dungeon Girls don’t die, they only respawn. I’m very sorry about this, but I promise to make it as fun as possible.

In the beginning there was just Prism. Our world, our goddess. But in her loneliness there hatched a melancholy so deep and unending that she felt only suffering. She tore herself apart in a bloody coup against her own agency until exhaustion was all that remained. Now she sleeps and dreams of this. Its continuation. Its inevitable end.

And then there’s you, raging against all that is. An adventurer, dungeon delver. Canary in the coal mine of our world’s chthonic wounds. Perhaps the sky doesn’t interest you–there are bills to pay, after all. But the bloody mess frames your silhouette as you rise from the depths carrying trophy and change.

As you do the work others can’t, you will be altered. You will die and be reborn, again and again. You will not know why, and you may never make peace with it. I don’t really care. All that matters is you keep going. Defeat dungeons, end nightmares, bring little sprays of joy to the world before it’s all over.

Dungeon Girls is going to be a massive project. The team consists of Me, Gwen, and Thursday. We're having bi-weekly meetings to hammer out the overall structure and then we'll be writing for the foreseeable future.

The purpose of this page then is to have a place where people can buy and support the PDF of the project as it's being developed and before it's finalized (and become expensive). Working a project this big is a risk because it means working for free until we can *do something* with it.

We believe in this project and are hoping you'll see the promise.

The project will be updated through my newsletterand patreon, along with discussions in the discord. BIG PDF updates will be rarer, at least until we hammer the big main concepts of the game out and can start putting them onto paper.

There is a limited run of the current PDF on sale at nerves.store. There will only be a handful of these and they will never be reprinted. Moving forward, the only physical copies that'll be available after this will be the finished book in all its ridiculous glory.
