Blackbirds is smoldering and being dripped into the ashcan. 

The chapter called "Time" has been added to the project. It's the Guide's first big section and it covers tracking time. It's the singular most important procedure for adventuring and the chapter itself is a cumulative project over years of trying to make sense of time tracking while in games. 

Something that always falls to the wayside when I used to run games was the passage of time. There's something grand about days turning into weeks into months. Seasons changing. Snow falling, melting. The year slipping away. Characters growing older. So that's what this chapter tries to capture.

Other than that, having a procedure for the Guide to use to track time hopefully makes it easy to step in as a first-time Guide. There's not as much worry about just riffing things off the top of the dome when you have a net to fall back on. Something to lean on. Something to make you feel more like a tracker or facilitator as opposed to someone who has to pull rabbits out of a hat over and over again in order to create a world.

Those are all hopes, anyways. You'll be the ones to tell me if it works like that or if it works in a different way that is also (hopefully) fun and interesting for your table.

Next big thing: I'm switching to charging for this now, as I feel it can stand on its own. This is playable as it is, even if it is an ashcan. The next big update will be the Equipment chapter,  which will feature: clothes, books, pets, items, weapons, cybernetics, potions, and mutations for those potions.

After that it will be onto spells and other supplementary things to fill out the meat of the book. Then art, then blah, blah, blah. If I'm honest, this will need to go to kickstarter. Art and printing are just too expensive. And idk when it can go to kickstarter, but probably not until next year. So, until then, all money this makes is still going to art. I'm working with Sam to get some art for the Character Creation chapter that I think is gonna be dope.
